Beta

Project lyrics, verses and announcements at church. Easy for anyone.

A desktop app for Windows and Mac, made for worship. A new volunteer can run a whole service, and the person who operates it every week has everything they need.

Luminary is in beta and can change quickly.

Made for worship

Warm and reverent like candlelight, not a cold office tool.

Works without internet

Everything you project comes from a copy saved on the computer. Internet is only needed to sync between computers and download new files.

Truly bilingual

Every menu, message and help text exists in Spanish and English, and it includes public-domain Bibles in both languages.

Three modes per person

Volunteer, Easy and Pro in a single program, so each person sees only what they need.

Style saved with each song

Background, lettering and alignment travel with every song and are not lost when importing.

Each church has its own space

Your files live in your church’s own cloud space, never mixed with others, and a local copy is always kept for the service.

Imports what you already have

Songs from Word, PDF, text and OpenLyrics. Presentations from PowerPoint and PDF.

How it looks

A quick look at the parts people use most, drawn from the demo.

Bible

Search by reference or by word, and project one verse, a range or several versions at once.

Stage screen

For the band: current and next slide, time, timer and messages.

Announcements

Sequences of slides that play on their own in a loop, or by hand.

Backgrounds

A library of image and video backgrounds, with tags and favorites. Includes 40 royalty-free samples.

Dark and light

Work in the theme that suits your booth. What you project always stays dark.

For every person at church

  1. Volunteer

Only projecting, always live. Perfect for someone serving for the first time.

  2. Easy

The essentials to prepare and run a service, without distractions.

  3. Pro

Every option, for the person who operates the booth every week.

Questions

Do I need internet during the service?

No. Everything you project comes from a copy saved on the computer. Internet is only needed to sync between computers and download new files.

Which computers does it run on?

Windows (64-bit) and Mac, with an Intel or Apple chip (M1, M2, M3…).

Is it free?

There are no plans or prices yet. Luminary is in a closed beta; pricing is coming soon.

Can I use my own Bible?

Yes. Public-domain Bibles in Spanish and English are included. Versions with copyright, such as Reina-Valera 1960 or NVI, are not included, but each church can import its own licensed copy (OSIS, Zefania, USFM, MySword/MyBible and e-Sword).

What about song lyrics with copyright?

Luminary does not include commercial lyrics. You write or import your church’s songs from Word, PDF, text or OpenLyrics.

Why does my computer warn me when installing?

During the beta the installers are not signed yet, so Windows or Mac show a warning the first time. It is normal in a beta, and they will be signed later.

How do I request access to the beta?

Fill in the “Request access to the beta” form on this page. We review every request and write to you by email.

Luminary will be available to download soon.

Meanwhile, you can request access to the closed beta or try the demo when it is ready.
